Lalit Wadhvana has held numerous management positions with the Ontario Government over the past 25 years. His focus has been on I&IT leadership in Transition to Operations (TTO) of Systems of different Ministries, most notably with the Health & Social Services and Education Ministries. He plays a vital role in the ongoing development of I&IT Service Management (SM) Standards and Technology Infrastructure. One notable highlight has been the realignment of the multi-billion dollar Ontario Welfare System to local Municipalities.
Along with a degree in Applied Computer Science, he is a Certified IT Auditor and has a master’s degree in IT Service Management.
For Lalit, his volunteerism (Seva) with BAPS Charities plays an important role in his life. As BAPS’ Medical Services Lead, he provides leadership to the organization’s activities and events, both locally and across North America. Annual events such as health fairs, blood drives, and walk-a-thons have grown to over 70 locations and brought together over 30,000 participants. He lives by the humble words of his guru; HH. Pramukh Swami Maharaj: “In the joy of others lies our own, In the progress of others rests our own, In the good of others abides our own.”
