Preet Bassi is a passionate community leader and financial services professional with over 15 years of industry experience. She has championed health care awareness and fundraising initiatives for more than 16 years, breaking barriers and educating through impactful outreach with her leadership team of committed professionals and volunteers.
Preet has been recognized with several honours, including the Connor, Clark and Lunn Financial Group entrance scholarship during her MBA, the Leading Women Building Communities award, the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, and the RBC Global Citizen Award.
Preet and her team lead a mental health outreach program that reaches over 150 community members per event. She serves as Vice-Chair of William Osler Health System Foundation’s Holi Gala Committee and actively volunteers on various committees and employee resource groups at work. She also contributes her time to ASCEND Canada, and mentors newcomers and students.
Previously, Preet served on Brampton’s Economic Development Committee and co-directed the CIBC Run for the Cure. Her family continues to carry forward a legacy of community education and creating impactful change for a healthier future.
