June 11, 2024, BRAMPTON – William Osler Health System Foundation (Osler Foundation) hosted 140 golfers at The Pulpit Club on Monday for the annual Osler Open: Brampton Invitational golf tournament, presented by IFS. This was the 17^th year for the event, which raised more than $225,137 in support of William Osler Health System’s (Osler) Brampton hospitals: Brampton Civic Hospital and Peel Memorial Centre for Integrated Health and Wellness (Peel Memorial).

Funds raised will support the transformation of Peel Memorial into Brampton’s new hospital and bring much-needed expanded cancer care services to Brampton Civic Hospital.

“This event started 17 years ago to help build what was then Brampton’s new hospital, Brampton Civic Hospital. It is incredible to be here today to raise funds to build Brampton’s second hospital—Peel Memorial Hospital—and bring enhanced cancer care services to our community,” said Ken Mayhew, President and CEO, William Osler Health System Foundation. “It’s going to take all of us, working together, to transform health care for our diverse and rapidly-growing city and we are grateful to the golfers, sponsors and donors who joined us today at the exceptionally beautiful The Pulpit Club to do just that.”
