Ken Mayhew

On behalf of Osler and Osler Foundation, it is with immense sadness that we share the difficult news that Ken Mayhew, President and CEO, Osler Foundation, has passed away.
Ken had a remarkable ability to connect with people at every level and took the time to truly listen, to learn and to recognize the meaningful contributions of others. He was an extraordinary advocate for health care in the communities we serve and brought heart and purpose to everything he did.
In recognition of his impact on his country and community, Ken received many honours and awards including the prestigious King Charles III Coronation Medal, Fundraiser of the Year from the Greater Toronto and Golden Horseshoe chapters of AFP, and a Paul Harris Fellow, to name just a few. His career is profiled in Peter Mansbridge’s book How Canada Works – The People Who Make Our Nation Thrive.
Our heartfelt condolences are with Ken’s family, friends and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. As we grieve this tremendous loss, we will also honour the legacy he leaves behind.
He will be greatly missed.
