William Osler Health System Foundation is thrilled to announce that Punjabi singing sensation, Malkit Singh will be the headliner for the fifth Annual Holi Gala – The Festival of Colours – presented by Interstate Freight Systems (IFS).

"Not only is Holi a time of celebration and unofficially marks the beginning of spring, it is a time when our community comes together to support local health care," said Dr. Gurjit Bajwa and Dr. Vandana Ahluwalia Co-Chairs, Holi Gala Committee, Osler Foundation. “The Holi Gala is an incredible event that brings the community together through dancing, music and food. We are proud to be hosting this colourful event once again this year.”

Tickets are on sale now for this vibrant night of celebration, which takes place on Saturday, April 7 at the Pearson Convention Center in Brampton. The event aims to raise more than $450,000 for redevelopment and equipment at Osler’s three hospitals: Brampton Civic Hospital, Etobicoke General Hospital and Peel Memorial Centre for Integrated Health and Wellness.

Entertaining millions all over the world with his singing, Malkit Singh has been hailed the ‘King of Bhangra’. His trademark anthem 'Tutak Tutak Toothiyan,' is the best-selling Bhangra song of all time and earned him a platinum record for his album ‘Up Front’. Singh has also been recognized in the Guinness Book of World Records as the 'Best Selling Bhangra Solo Artist in the World’. Guests will also enjoy a mesmerizing performance from Shiamak Davar Dance Toronto.
