Tina Larsen and Susan Crawford are successful, modern businesswomen…who are inspired by the past. Their “Women Helping Women” health and wellness event in February was inspired by the Peel Memorial Women’s Auxiliary, which raised funds for Peel Region’s first hospital, 100 years ago. “These women knew a healthy community needs quality health care,” says Susan. “We were excited about organizing a women’s grassroots event to support our community hospital,” adds Tina. Thanks to Susan, Tina, and the support of countless women, the sold out event raised over $12K for Vital Signs Monitors for the new Peel Memorial.
