As William Osler Health System (Osler) and William Osler Health System Foundation (Osler Foundation) celebrate the 15 years of Brampton Civic Hospital, the many donors and supporters who have stepped forward to rally around us over the years are top of mind.

One such champion is the Brampton-Bramalea Lions Club, who are committed to supporting community and that includes giving to local, quality health care. In October, 2021, the Lions Club announced they would match donations up to $1.5 million to Osler Foundation to support the Build Back, Together campaign in support of COVID-19 pandemic recovery at Osler’s three hospital sites: Brampton Civic Hospital, Etobicoke General Hospital and Peel Memorial for Integrated Health and Wellness.

“We have all witnessed the intense demand placed on our hospitals during COVID-19, so we felt compelled to support Osler’s pandemic recovery with a $1.5 million gift,” Mary Lou Pollock, Brampton-Bramalea Lions Club. “We are urging the entire community to rally alongside us in helping Osler hospitals build back.”
