Tarndeep Banga has built his entire career at Osler. He began as an MRI Technologist in 2010 and went on to hold a variety of roles in Diagnostic Imaging and Interventional Radiology before transitioning into his current role as Clinical Services Manager for General Medicine and Palliative Care at Etobicoke General Hospital.

In his day-to-day work, Tarndeep’s priority is supporting Osler’s frontline nursing teams and allied health staff, helping ensure their units run as smoothly as possible.

“At its core, my job is about removing obstacles for our staff, so they can focus on what they do best: delivering exceptional patient care,” Tarndeep says.

For Tarndeep, Osler is more than a workplace—it’s his community hospital. As a local resident, he and his family have experienced firsthand the excellent care Osler provides. That personal connection makes the This is My Hospital campaign especially meaningful to him.

“For me, it’s about serving the community and making sure people, including my family and neighbours have the support and health care resources they need,” Tarndeep says.

When asked why he became an employee donor, Tarndeep’s answer was simple: he sees the impact of giving every day.

“When you manage units on the ground, you see the exact moments where Foundation funding makes a difference,” he says. “You see it in the specialized equipment that helps a nurse do their job more safely, and in the small comforts provided to a palliative patient and their family members.”

For Tarndeep, employee giving is more than a donation—it’s a tangible way to support his colleagues, his patients, and the community he calls home.
